Understanding the use of cookies

Our Internet pages use cookies. Cookies are text files which are stored on your computer's hard drive by a website during your visit. We use both session cookies (which become invalid when you close your web browser) and persistent cookies, which remain on your computer until you delete them.

Many websites and servers use cookies. Many cookies contain a so-called cookie ID. A cookie ID is a unique identifier of the cookie. It consists of a string of characters through which Internet pages and servers can be assigned to the specific Internet browser in which the cookie was stored. This enables the visited Internet pages and servers to distinguish the individual browser of the person concerned from other Internet browsers that contain other cookies. A particular Internet browser can be recognized and identified by its unique cookie ID. The use of cookies enables us to provide users of our website more user-friendly services that would not be possible without the setting of cookies. Visitors of our websites can prevent the setting of cookies by our website at any time by preventing the corresponding settings of the Internet browser used and thereby permanently contradicting the setting of cookies.

In addition, cookies that have already been set can be deleted at any time via an Internet browser or other software programs. This possibility is given in all common Internet browsers. If the person concerned deactivates the setting of cookies in the Internet browser used, not all functions of our website may be fully usable under certain circumstances.

Web Analysis and Website Optimization

If your consent given, we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service (tracking tool) of Google Ireland Limited (registration number 368047) on this website. With this technology it is possible for us to maintain and expand our website. By using reports, we are able to measure and evaluate our website and optimise our content. In order to protect our users and partners, we can also identify and avert fraud and security risks.

Google Analytics uses so called cookies, which are text files placed on your computer enabling the website to analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookies about your use of our website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

Since the protection of your data is important to us, we have extended Google Analytics by the configuration parameter “anonymizeIp”. Your IP address is only abbreviated by the code. We therefore process your personal usage data anonymously. It is not possible for us to draw any conclusions about your person.

On mandate of our company, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, in order to compile reports on website activities and to provide us with other services relating to website activity and Internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google. Further information on how Google processes your data when you visit websites can be found at or

The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit a DSGVO. The recipient of the collected data is Google. The personal data is transferred to the USA under the EU-US Privacy Shield based on the European Commission's adequacy decision.

The data and linked  cookies, user IDs (e.g. user ID) or advertising IDs sent by us are automatically deleted after 14 months. Data whose retention period has been reached is automatically deleted once a month.

You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by preventing the storage of cookies through a corresponding setting in your browser software; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to the full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and Google from processing this data by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: Opt-out cookies prevent the future collection of your data when you visit this website. To prevent Universal Analytics from collecting your information across multiple devices, you must opt-out on all systems you use.
